During the first weeks of school the pre-k classes at my school will read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin, Jr. & John Archambault. This is a book about A, B, C's going up a coconut tree.

On homework day, we will read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (or I will have the students re-tell the story), then my students will color a coconut tree and we will write target sounds or words on the coconuts for them to practice at home. On game day we will play the Crazy Coconuts Game!

Included with the game are 2 game boards and coconut cards. (Print one game board for each player).

This game is a simple reinforcement game that Pre-K and Kindergarten students will enjoy! Skills targeted include:  spatial concepts: top & bottom, counting.
